This “Uncorked” edition of the movie restores scenes in all the best parts, the wedding scenes. Extra wedding moments show more and more of Vince and Owen’s seduction tactics, and tactics for getting out of trouble.
As such, this isn’t any dirtier than the R-rated version. They haven’t added nipples or F bombs, at least not notably so. They’ve gone with “clean-ish” comedy scenes to give us more joy, not more vulgarity. It pushes the movie well over two hours, but make an evening of it.
Also worth note, the deleted scenes not reincorporated are very funny, with Christopher Walken talking about the munchies, Vince and Owen rambling in a scene extension and the epic karaoke number. You should put the karaoke scene on a repeating loop at any party. It’ll rile the crowd up endlessly. |
