As the UK’s seminal live music show, “The Old Grey Whistle Test” featured the hottest artists from both sides of the Atlantic. While American TV audiences could only savor raw rock performances on shows like Saturday Night Live and Late Night With David Letterman, British fans watched as many of rock ’n’ roll’s most charismatic and recognizable stars graced “The Old Grey Whistle Test” stage, often at the start of their careers.
In the tradition of the first volume, The Old Grey Whistle Test, Vol.2 is jam-packed with some of the greatest names in music history including The Who, Jim Croce, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Roxy Music, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Patti Smith Group, Meatloaf, Squeeze, Simply Red, and many others! In total, the DVD includes more than two hours of music and interviews with over 28 vintage songs.
