"Joey: The Complete First Season" DVD Review

I always liked Joey. I had no problems with Friends comparisons. This was a show about one character and the new writers maintained his integrity. He amazingly remained sympathetic despite his womanizing ways, and the cleverness of his dumb misunderstandings cracks me up. Actually, taking three simultaneous understudy jobs was smart.

So I’ll watch the Complete First Season of Joey over and over. I wish they’d had some extras but they probably rushed it out to try to stir up interest to save the show. Maybe it’s too late now but you can still enjoy Joey’s first 24 shows, which is two more than normal series and five more than Friends were doing near the end.
