 Not Guilty

When you see Step Up, it’s okay to ogle the sweaty high school dancers, because the actors are actually in their ‘20s. But it’s not always that simple in teen movies. Some underage actors are way hotter than they should be at their age. Here’s a guide to the movies you shouldn’t be ogling.
10. Aquamarine - Even the mermaid was only 17 when she filmed, so those human legs she’s showing off are off limits.
9. Sleepover - Another Sara Paxton classic, everyone was 16 or less here. So when they play dress up and get all glammed up, look away.
8. Aerosmith Videos - Alicia Silverstone was only 17 when she did these videos, and Liv Tyler was a year younger! Steven, what are you doing to us? Your own daughter!
7. What a Girl Wants - Amanda Bynes always seemed mature for her age. That sense of humor always does it to us. Anyway, hands off.
6. Heathers - Most of the Heathers were okay, but Winona and Shannen were 17 when they filmed. Of course, I was 13 when the movie came out so they were legal to me.
5. Dick - Kirsten Dunst aged way too fast. Even Bring It On was just on the border, but Dick was definitely statutory. Another crime for Tricky Dick.
4. Mean Girls - The good news: Rachel McAdams was 26 and Lacey Chabert was 22. Even Amanda Seyfried was 19. The bad news: Lindsay didn’t get legal until Herbie.
3. Any Hilary Duff Movie - They must be putting something in Hilary Duff’s milk because she always looked more glamorous than a teenager should. That Disney starmaking factory…
2. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants - Blake Lively was an actual teenager when they filmed this movie, and they made her the soccer babe making all the sexual plays for the coach.
1. Ice Princess - Michelle Trachtenberg was 20 but all the other ice skating babes were real teenagers driven by their coaches/parents. Those curve hugging flesh tone leggings are mighty deceiving. |
