Catching up on this TV release from June, another classic sitcom comes to DVD with a selection of extra features. Seven featurettes explore different aspects of the show. Bet you didn’t know there was so much depth to Tony and Angela.
Actually, these are just clip reels with clever titles. “Tony Micelli: Man of the House” shows Tony Danza in comedic action. “Angela Bower: President of the Corporation” shows Judith Light, “Mona… Mona… Mona…” shows Katherine Helmond. And so on.
Only get this collection if you’re into the show. You won’t get much extra, but of course we all want to own our favorite TV shows on DVD now, because syndication just doesn’t fulfill our “watch it now” demands. |
