Footloose: Special Edition

I was really looking forward to popping this disc in and listening to Kevin Bacon’s commentary after all these years. Now that I’ve done it, I’m here to report that this is best served as background noise if you’re doing something else. Bacon’s stories are great, remembering the audition with details as important as the hair cut, and funny, making fun of the outdated cassette tapes and his sleeveless shirt in the film. The funniest story is about hearing the song at weddings. But there are lots of gaps. It doesn’t fill the whole movie, so make this a background extra.
